🎥 Video tutorial: Create CPD cycles and streams

Before you start creating your CPD cycles, you will need to determine whether or not you need to allocate your CPD cycles to different streams.

CPD cycles cannot overlap each other, so streams are used when multiple concurrent cycles are required. The table below illustrates how this can be set up.

Create streams

From the menu pane on the left select CPD > Setup > Manage Cycle Streams.

Click the New Stream button

Enter the title and description of the stream and click Save Changes.

A list of the cycles associated with that stream will be displayed underneath the stream details.

Should you need to edit or delete a stream at any point, you can click the Actions button to select these options.

Create cycles

From the menu on the left select CPD > Setup > Manage Cycles.

If you are utilising Cycle Streams to allow concurrent CPD cycles, select the relevant Stream.

Enter the cycle details:

  • Cycle Title - Enter the name of the CPD cycle

  • Start Date - Select the start date of the CPD cycle

  • End Date - Select the end date of the CPD cycle

  • Required Points - Enter the number of points the user is required to complete within the cycle dates

  • Open - Select if the cycle is currently open and activities can be entered

  • Admin can delete logs - Select whether or not activity logs can be edited and deleted by an administrator

  • User can delete logs - Select whether or not activity logs can be edited and deleted by the user

Click Save New Cycle once all details have been entered.
