Credit Card Payment Gateway

Overview

From 31 July 2026, Stripe Connect will become the only supported payment gateway within Membes AMS. While existing gateways (including SecurePay, eWay, PayWay and PayPal Pro) will continue to function, the Membes team will no longer be able to provide support for non-Stripe payment transactions. This change will help ensure a more secure, reliable and feature-rich payment experience, while enabling access to enhanced functionality including payment plans, subscription memberships, post-submission card payments, and improved transaction reconciliation. Customers currently using another gateway or the older Stripe API integration, are strongly encouraged to transition to Stripe Connect. Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Click on the gear icon to open the Configuration and Settings menu.

2. In the menu on the left click Finance > Payment Gateway.

3. Select your payment gateway from the dropdown list.

   Open

   

4. Enter the credentials provided by your gateway provider, the fields will be different depending on which gateway you are using.

Set the gateway status to Live and click Save.
