The File Repository is where any documents and images uploaded to your site are saved.

You can access the File Repository in a few different ways. The main way to access it is from the menu pane on the left select File Repository.
You can also access it via the WYSIWYG editor in the Content box by clicking the Image button and clicking Browse Server.
It can also be accessed in the Content box by clicking on the Link button and clicking Browse Server.
The File Repository is set up with two standard folders, Files and Images. When you access the File Repository via the WYSIWYG editor you will be taken directly to the Images folder when you click the Image button, and the Files folder when you click the Link button.
It is best practice to keep your image files and documents separated in these folders, this will assist with maintaining good file management as you start to add more files and images to your site.
Within the standard Files and Images folders you can create sub-folders to help keep everything organised. You can do this by right-clicking on the folder and selecting New Sub-folder.
To upload a file, go to the folder you wish to save it in and click on the Upload button.

Once you have uploaded your file, right-click on the file thumbnail to see the options available. You can do the following:
View
Download
Rename
Delete
If you wish to link directly to a file you've uploaded, right-click the file thumbnail and select View. The file will appear in a separate window and you can copy the URL to create your hyperlink.

Add image via WYSIWYG editor
To upload an image via the WYSIWYG editor click on the Image button and click Browse Server in the Image Properties dialogue box that appears.

You will then be taken directly to the Images folder of the File Repository and from here you can select an image already saved in the File Repository or upload a new one.
To add the image to your page double-click on it. You will then be taken back to the Image Properties dialogue box, from here you can adjust the image size to suit.
If you change the size of your image ensure the the padlock is closed so that your image will be resized in proportion.
Add file via WYSIWYG editor
As per the Image process above, you can upload a file via the WYSIWYG editor and create a hyperlink to it. Click on the Link button and click Browse Server in the dialogue box that appears.

You will be taken directly to the Files folder of the File Repository and from here you can select a file already saved in the File Repository or upload a new one.
To add the link to your site double-click on the file to select it. In the Link Properties dialogue box, enter the Display Text you want to show instead of the whole URL. In the example below the Display Text is set to show "Enter your display text here" instead of the complete URL www.sample.membes3.com.au/....

Once you've set the Display Text click the Target tab to set how you want the file to open ie. in a new window or the same window.
